2025 Ministry Report

The Pocock Family Missions 2025 ministry report

Fun fact to keep you reading: The Pocock family took 23 flights in 2025 and Brit did it with a baby on her lap!!

2025 was a year of challenge and adventure for our family.  The Lord worked in us in many ways and through us in ways we may not see until the day we see clearly!  It was a year of change, growth, networking, fellowship and obedience. It was hard in ways that drew us closer to the Lord and in ways that transformed us for the better. We were greeted with exciting news at the end of the year. At the end of the year we found out we were expecting baby Pocock #5. Our family is excited to see a new Pocock face and excited to see how the Lord will provide for all our needs in  2026.

Ministry engagements by Month, countries served in and the opportunities we were allotted.

January:

Mexico; YWAM Rancho Abierto, Bible School for the Nations.

Rancho Abierto is a YWAM base that is set up to transform the lives of families seeking to live a life wholeheartedly unto the Lord.

JP had the opportunity to teach on the gospels during the BSN and then we stuck around to help finish the school.

February:

Mexico; YWAM Rancho Abierto, Bible School for the Nation

Colombia; YWAM Bogota,

YWAM Cartagena

YWAM Medellin

Greater Grace Medellin

Our goal in traveling to Colombia was to make connections with the YWAM bases so we could lead a family outreach to Colombia. We wanted to make sure these bases were eager and ready to serve families during their outreach for the family DTS.

Our time at Greater Grace is always a feeling of home. This Church is the first English speaking church in Medellin.  They serve with the heart of God! We love to visit and reconnect with the body there.

March, April, May

Mexico; YWAM Rancho Abierto, The family Discipleship Training School, Teen DTS leaders.

We had the opportunity to disciple the teens that had come to the Ranch for the family DTS.  It was a wonderful experience to be surrounded by teens that are growing and eager to walk with the Lord. Jeremiah was one of our Students.

June, July:

United States

We had the opportunity this past summer to go back to Ohio and reconnect with friends and family and this also was a  time to make preparations for our South East Asia family outreach.

August:

United States, Beautiful Feet speak life training.

Beautiful Feet International exists to spread the good news of God’s love by founding, training, and equipping pregnancy ministries worldwide.

Mexico, Rancho Abierto, Family DTS - Debrief.

September

Malaysia, YWAM Penang, Kawan Center, Breath of Life Malaysia

YWAM Penang  is a Strategic Ministry Centre, reaching out to both local people and those from many different countries with the Good News and acts of love

Kawan Center- Kawan ('friend' in Malay) is a drop-in centre serving the street-based community of Penang.

Our kids and grandmama had the opportunity to serve at the Kawan center a few times a week giving opportunities to make connections. We as a family also had the opportunity to lead a fun family worship, and our kids had everyone dancing!

Breath of Life- Serves the displaced Rohingya Mothers by providing childbirth education and doula services.

Britt had the opportunity to ride along with and do educational house visits engaging the pregnant mothers in topics such as nutrition during pregnancy and what labor looks like.  And she made an incredible friendship with one of the translators.

October:

India, 10th Pro-life Summit India. Hosted by Life For All India.

Life for All is an international non-profit organization, whose aim it is to reduce injustices towards women and children in India.

I had the opportunity here to share a testimony of God's goodness after an abortion experience and JP and I had the opportunity together to do a workshop on the importance of post abortion restoration ministry in the Church.

Singapore, Pregnancy Help ministries conference Pan Asia hosted by Heartbeat  International.

Heartbeat International's vision is to foster a world where every life is welcomed, and abortion is considered both unwanted today and unthinkable for future generations. They aim to achieve this by building a global network of community-based, life-affirming pregnancy help, including centers, maternity homes, and adoption agencies.

JP and I had the opportunity to learn from the incredible leaders of Heartbeat and also to connect with Pregnancy help ministries that are currently operating in Southeast Asia. It was an awesome time.

 Thailand, Phuket Christian Center

We as a family decided to go to Phuket after our two conferences for a family vacation. Phuket is special to JP and I in that it is where I, Brit, was introduced to Jesus!  We had the privilege of sharing that testimony at Phuket Christian Center during our vacation.  It was wonderful to be back and to share with our kids that experience.

November, December:

Thailand, The Elm Center, Beautiful Feet International, Agape Children's Home, Tribal Children's Youth Hostel (North Burma Christian Mission), Restoration to the Nations (JP and Britts Ministry Launch), Smartseed learning Center

The Elm Center-mission is to equip churches to empower women in Thailand to choose life by affirming the sanctity of human life and proclaiming the gospel of Christ.

We had the opportunity to join the Elm Team during Friday leaders meetings and also one of the leaders joined our zoom training to learn how to grow an abortion restoration ministry in their center.

Restoration to the Nations is a ministry that was laid on our hearts years ago after walking though post abortion restoration. This ministry is birthed after great trial and transformation. The ministry desires to see the body of Christ restored in the area of abortion.  Our vision is to equip the global body of Christ with the ability to minister abortion restoration to the nations.  Many nations have been affected by abortion. The Church has also been greatly impacted. To reach the nations we must first allow Christ to redeem and heal ourselves inside the Church.

We had the opportunity to train and equip leaders from 4 different nations through a 4 week zoom course designed to grow leaders into the work of abortion restoration in the Church.  The countries served were Thailand, Malaysia, India and the US.

Tribal Children's Home-

Creating a home away from home to give tribal children access to a formal education at government schools. This has allowed over 3000 children to retain their tribal identity within a family environment while receiving Christian values and enabling over a 1000 of them to accept Christ as their Savior.

Our family had the incredible privilege of having a home base inside this village.  Our children had the opportunity to love and be loved by these wonderful children.  Super thankful for the Lord's provision is this place.

Smartseed learning Center is an is an international learning center working with kids through the P.A.C.E curriculum. This curriculum is a christian based homeschool curriculum.

JP and Jeremiah both had the opportunity to teach here. Jeremiah taught guitar and JP P.E.

I want to encourage all that are reading this blog to look into these ministries I have listed.  These are wonderful God honoring ministries that would benefit from your support as the body. Whether through service or prayer or finance.  We are called to serve one another.

Thanks so much for taking the time to read all that the Lord has allowed us to do, witness, give and be a part of in 2025.

With much Love,

Team Pocock

JP, Britt, Jeremiah, Elizabeth, Mordecai, Ruth, Baby Pocock #5
