A Journey of Faith and Flight: Our First Days in Malaysia

We've officially been in Malaysia for a full day, and yesterday was all about recovery. After years of family travels, I can honestly say this journey has been the most draining yet. It all began in San Diego, where we spent three days grounding ourselves as a family. We really focused on our daily routine and teamwork, a philosophy we believe can make any place in the world feel like home. I was so impressed by how well we worked together.

From there, we drove to LAX for what would be an epic flight to Singapore—the fifth-longest in the world at 16 hours and 40 minutes! To top it off, I did it with a baby in my lap. After that marathon, we finally boarded the last leg of our journey to Kuala Lumpur, our current home base.

Our arrival was a little rough. I was a mix of delirious, disoriented, and honestly, pretty emotional. Stepping into this new country, everything felt so foreign. I felt a powerful ache for my home and for Mexico. But this morning, we woke up, worshipped our Creator, and found a much better place. We're now out enjoying our day.

The challenges of the last few days have been a profound reminder: life is full of hurdles that call us to lean on our faith. I hope you have the chance to seek your own adventure today—that's where you'll find it!
